I have a 115hp Evinrude Ficht,  What size prop should I have on it to make it operate at its maximum speed?  Also is there anything I can do to improve its performance? Thanks

Hello 5 Big Bass,
There is a lot to be considered when selecting your "go-to" prop. Here's a few questions we need to know to narrow down the choices:

1) What boat is this motor/prop on? Length and especially weight is important.
2) Is there any setback from the transom?
3) What set-up are you currently running?
4) What is your boat performing like now? Speed? RPM?

Let us know and we'll go from there!

The boat I am running it on is a 18 foot fish and ski.
There is no current set back on the transom, the motor is connected directly on the transom.
My top speed is about 45mph
I am not exactly sure what the weight is of the boat.

Put a 6 to 8 inch jackplate on it and see if you can get an 21p Tempest If not try a 21 p Raker
Both those props you should see performance gains
